This course, located amidst mature trees with outstanding views of the Ochil Hills, has twice hosted the British Boys' Championship and has been used for many years by the R&A as a regional qualifying venue for the Open Championship.

The course has also been used to host the Scottish Professional Golfers Championship and the Scottish Girls' Championship and the Scottish Mid-Amateur Championship last year.
